• Motor Pulley : Normally compressor is driven by V Belt arrangement through flywheel and motor pulley.

• Oil Separator : A refrigeration plant is fitted with one or more oil separators to prevent the capacity of the system from being reduced by oil, which has been carried over with refrigerant.

A complete Electric Control Panel is provided with each Metalex make refrigeration compressor. Basically it consists of pressure gauges, cut-outs (switches) & the necessary electrical circuit to operate the solenoid valves. The pressure gauges are used to indicate the pressure of gas and oil at various stages in system. The cabinet provides them rigid support and safety from water and direct impact. It also provides good aesthetic look.

There are two types of cutouts used in the control panel. One HP/LP cutout is used to protect the compressor from any abnormal changes in pressure of gas at suction & delivery ports of compressor. The other is oil pressure cut-out. It is used to safeguard the compressor against low pressure of lubricating oil.

For loading and unloading of compressor cylinders, solenoid valves are used. The valves are also controlled by switches on the control panel. Interlocking of Solenoid Valves is provided to load the cylinders in proper sequence.

Above all, LED (Light Emitting Diode) display is provided. It gives indication of all the operations carried out through Control Panel. All the switches and indicators used are of international standards and the design of control panel is done as per ergonomic and aesthetic considerations to provide safe and efficient working of the compressor.
